TraceTogether, Safer Together. fight covid-19

TraceTogether, Safer Together

Have you installed the TraceTogether app?

TraceTogether is an app that facilitates the contact tracing process during the COVID-19 pandemic. With your consent, it exchanges Bluetooth signals with nearby phones running the same app. This allows you to be informed if you were in prolonged proximity with an infected person. The app is jointly developed by Government Technology Agency (GovTech) and Ministry of Health (MOH).

Your privacy is safeguarded

The only identity data TraceTogether stores are:

-          Your mobile number

-          A randomised user ID, e.g. 9I8VPeQeWDofj39c8dPySoUXLqh2

When you sign up, a random user ID is generated and associated with your mobile number. Both the mobile number and user ID are stored in a secure server and never shown to the public. It is this ID that is exchanged between phones, not your actual number. The app does not track your location or contacts.

Protect ourselves, our loved ones, our community

TraceTogether makes it faster to complete contact tracing on a national level. When more people use it, we will be safer together. Since its launch in Mar 2020, TraceTogether has achieved a 25% population adoption rate with 1.4 million users.

Install TraceTogether now

It is simple to use – download the app, grant it permission to log data, turn on your Bluetooth and keep the app running (it will not drain the battery consumption). TraceTogether is available for download on App Store and Google Play Store.
