Scaling Up through inter-school networks supported by MOEHQ-ETD
- Lesson packages were customized around the 5 computer models. Students took on the role of scientists and conducted investigations and inquiry using both the computer models and actual laboratory equipment.
- In 2012, a total of 2117 students and 39 teachers from 5 institutions reported that they have benefited from using the computer models.
- Students appreciated the increased level of interactivity when exploring the modeled science with enhanced visualization.
- With strong teachers' guidance, the computer models turned out to be powerful tools for teaching and learning with technology.

- We shared our innovation and findings at:
- South 5 Cluster Sharing
- Instructional Programme Support Group JC Physics
- eduTech Seminar
- We conducted workshops on designing simple models using EJS and employing computer models in lessons for inquiry-based learning through:
- eduLab@AST
- International Conference Computer in Education
- Physics Chapter Brown Bag
- Today, we have a pool of teacher leaders collaborating and working on the innovation.

Scaling Up through global networks
Our project has been featured on international platforms and we want to continue to benefit the local and international Physics teaching community through
- World Conference Physics Education
- American Association Physics Teachers Conference
- Redesign Pedagogy Conference
All this and more is possible because of the 3P
- people, teachers as leaders, we as agents of educational reforms-changes to put interactive engagement into classrooms through computer models
- product, Open Source Physics through Easy Java Simulation, free and easy to use, source codes are licensed under creative commons attribution and GNU (freedom to change the software).
- process, top-down support from MOEHQ-ETD as eduLab program, making this initiative as my core work etc. MOE innergy award from ODD-MOE Chan Tee Miang and his wonderful team of officers like HO_Wei_Hao@moe.gov.sg and Latha S.V , which the gravity-physics by inquiry was selected among many awards winners projects to be shared as innovation-ideas happening on the ground to senior management of MOE in May 2012 during PS21 meeting.
