From teacher:

1. When the phase difference is set to 180 degrees, the two waves from the sources do not seem to be pi radian out of phase? Did I miss out anything? The wave-fronts also seem to be representing the positions of the crest incorrectly.
solution
bug fixed! using the correct code with phase

"xsource2+sign2*((x-xsource2)*cs2-0.1*A2*Math.cos(omega*t-k*(x-xsource2)+phase)*sc2)"
"ysource2+sign2*((x-xsource2)*sc2+0.1*A2*Math.cos(omega*t-k*(x-xsource2)+phase)*cs2)"

2. When in the 3-D model, the positions of the source do not shift and seems out of place? Is there anything I should have done?
solution:
need human manipulation, left click mouse + shift around to pan, shift in and out to zoom in and out.

watch the 10.40 onwards for the 3D explanation

enjoy the "great sim"!

this video is great for contextualising the model as mentioned by Ng Boon Leong https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iuv6hY6zsd0 The cool part starts from about 4:40
