thanks to Professor Ajoy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajoy_Ghatak for inspiring me to document myself on Wikipedia.

Loo Kang Wee (born March 24, 1969) is a Singapore physics teacher who specializes on Open Source Physics tools[1] like Easy JavaScript Simulation[2] and Tracker[3] - video analysis & modelling tool. As a Senior Educational Technology Specialist in the Ministry of Education, Singapore, he has written 26[4]research papers and investigated in 5 funded projects from edulab[5] National Research Foundation, Senior Specialist Research Fund[6]Ministry of Education and National Institute of Education Research Funding Programme.[7] He was awarded the Singapore Public Service PS21 Distinguished Star Service Award in 2014,[8]Singapore Public Service PS21 Best Ideator in 2012. He received his Master of Arts in Instructional Design and Technology in 2007 from Nanyang Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from National University of Singapore in 1994. He constantly seeks to find new ways of improving learning and teaching in Singapore schools. He lives the ethos of the teaching profession (Lead, Care, Inspire)[9]and leverages on his specialized skills and knowledge to create new, freely available open-source physics resources to benefit anyone, anywhere in the world. To date, he has contributed or adapted more than 150 Easy Java Simulations, 80 newer Easy JavaScript simulations, and 100 Tracker video analysis-models[10] for use in our Singapore curriculum. Through his creative commons attribution contributions, physics lessons have come "alive", is meaningfully fun to inspire curiosity and imagination in Singapore and around the world.

Vision [11][edit]

To make the world a better place for everyone, and do 'his' humble part as a concerned citizen of the world by contributing to open educational resources, and creating engaging and interactive computer models-simulations that support active learning for improving education all over the world. Thus 'his' motivation is to serve students, teachers and the public with the well-designed and customized simulations resources for the world, while being rooted in Singapore.” - WEE LOO KANG LAWRENCE Senior Specialist, Educational Technology Division Ministry of Education.
