Singapore physics teaching software wins global award!
Singapore has been conferred the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for its Open Source Physics at Singapore (OSP@SG). Since 2005, this global award had been given to governments, organisations and individuals using ICT to improve learning. MOE was recognised for its free software OSP@SG, which is available worldwide.Used by almost 10,000 students locally, OSP@SG is an interactive ICT tool that helps students visualise physics concepts. We extend our warmest congratulations to chapter members Wee Loo Kang Lawrence (SS/TfL) and Mr Ong Chee Wah (LT/Phy) for their contributions in putting the Singapore Physics education fraternity on the global stage.
