Great news! After a fruitful 2 weeks teacher attachment to ETD, I am thrilled to announce the interactive simulation created by your teacher, Zenia is available on SLS as a lesson (will be published on community gallery of SLS) as well as the URL Balancing Chemistry Equation JavaScript Simulation Applet HTML5 free for anyone to use.
Zenia is very motivated to make this simulation better than the one on the internet by PHET (award winning simulation), having spent time researching on her students, misconception arising from using the PHET's chemistry sim. Zenia's balancing chemical equation has several features worth noting, that we believe is superior to other simulations out there, and they are
- 9 questions of different levels of difficulty (level 1, level 2 and level 3) with increasing number of products on the right hand side of the equal sign
- show hint button, temporary reveals the shortage (dash outlines) or extra (solid outline) atoms
- check button, evaluate the students' choice on the bottom combobox numbers, when correct, the next question will be fielded
- left arrow button, to allow students to revisit questions they got correct
- right arrow button, to allow students to progress only after they got the questions correct, but not before
- visualisation panels of up to 6 molecules on the left (reactants) and right (products) of the reaction
- simple data analytics of the students' actions, that stays on screen even after reset button, to help teachers' give evidence based feedback to improve students' understanding.

After remixing games 1,2,3 based on earlier source codes by other teachers in Singapore, Victoria has already managed to achieve populating her SLS lessons with fun games to engage her students.
But Victoria push on and is very motivated to make her very own shooting the dragon game and after much effort in rapidly prototyping the game, she has finally creating a fun and engaging game with new quiz function with 4 options. Victoria's has made great progress in her ability to create/remix games that can be used in SLS, and ETD thank you for your kind support in this teacher attachment.

Abbas managed to remix from earlier source codes and made 4 games usable for his students in SLS lessons. Many of my colleagues were very impressed by the games in terms of the colors schemes, animations and scoring mechanics. Abbas's has made great progress in his ability to create/remix games that can be used in SLS, and ETD thank you for your kind support in this teacher attachment.
