ETD, SLS and AIEd C&E Team, with the support from CRMWG PD Subgroup, will be organising the following workshop for CRDOs/CRDT members: Integration of AIEd features in SLS Lesson Design. This workshop explores the integration of AI-enabled features in SLS to enhance teaching and learning experiences

Greetings from Curriculum Resource Management Work Group (CRMWG).

 

  1. ETD, SLS and AIEd C&E Team, with the support from CRMWG PD Subgroup, will be organising the following workshop for CRDOs/CRDT members: Integration of AIEd features in SLS Lesson DesignThis workshop explores the integration of AI-enabled features in SLS to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  2. The details of the workshop are stated below:

  1. Participants will gain hands-on experience for the following:
  1. Authoring Co-Pilot (ACP): Lesson planning, auto-generate components and suggested activities such as Review Questions Quiz efficiently anchoring on Knowledge base
  2. Short Answer Feedback Assistant: Provide near real-time formative assessment, suggested marks and auto-generated content-related feedback for Free-Response Questions
  3. Learning Assistant (LEA): A student-facing dialogic agent on SLS, which serves to guide students’ learning via iterative questioning in a discussion component


Thereafter, participants may choose to join one of the differentiated learning pathways:

 

  1. Pathway 1: Designing Custom Interactives Using Generative AI: To create engaging digital learning experiences using Gemini 2.5 Pro or ChatGPT with Visual Code Studio, followed by an advanced editor demo, Trae.

(Note: Participants are to bring their own personal laptop if they want to follow the Trae steps – it is a free AI-powered Integrated Development Environment software that needs installation. Trae cannot be installed on SSOE laptops.)

  1. Pathway 2Exploring Gamification: Delve into gamification and other interesting features and insights to discover new hacks in SLS. 

 

  1. Due to limited capacity, we have preliminarily allocated training slots for each branch. Do let us know if your branch needs additional slots. Additional spaces may be given after the initial nomination.
