The Student Learning Space (SLS) continues to evolve as a platform that empowers teachers to design richer and more engaging lessons. One of the newest capabilities is AI-powered image generation built directly into SLS.

My assessment & what to test

Given the user reports and plausible causes, I think it’s likely that many users will observe lower or less consistent image quality from the API (gpt-image-1) than from the ChatGPT image interface, especially in more complex prompts (faces, text, fine detail). But I don’t believe it’s inherently “worse” in all cases — with careful prompt design and output settings, the gap can be narrowed.
