About This Activity
This is a quiz-based interactive activity designed for Primary 5 students to explore and practise finding the area of triangles. Students are presented with a visual grid showing a triangle and are asked to identify its Base and Height, then calculate the Area using the formula:
Area of Triangle = ½ × Base × Height
How It Works
Students are shown a triangle plotted on a grid. They need to:
- Measure or read off the Base (in units)
- Measure or read off the Height (in units)
- Calculate the Area (in square units)
- Submit their answers and move to the next triangle
The activity features multiple triangle configurations — starting with a right triangle — to give students varied practice.
